Tom Lonergan
LAB MANAGER/TECHNICIAN III
Tom is the current lab manager and has a hand in helping others run experiments, troubleshoot, and developing new assays. His main skills include setting up and optimizing ELISAs, running flow cytometry experiments, performing focus forming assays (FFAs) for virus detection, and keeping the lab maintained. Prior to joining the Caddy lab, Tom worked as a lab animal technician for an anti-aging study with sled dogs and worked with soybeans in a plant genetics lab. There is no end to his scientific curiosities and willingness to help others produce reliable results.

Outside of the lab… he enjoys painting, going to the gym, eating yummy food, and making people laugh!
